    Had a bit of fun removing the old stud at the junction between the cat and the centre muffler, but apart from that, it was all fairly straightforward. The flanges between the cat pipe and the centre muffler pipe didn't align as well as I would have liked, but a little RTV sorted that. The Territory now has a bit of a rumble at idle, and a bit more of a note on acceleration. My wife, who is very conservative when it comes to such things, doesn't think it is too loud. So that's a win. Definitely better than the original, which had seen better days, and was leaking and rattling. It remains to be seen what I think when I am towing. But it doesn't seem too bad. I am nearly 60 years old, so I am not as tolerant of a drone as I was when I was younger. It's early days, but I think it should be alright. As for the shipping packaging, well it had seen better days by the time it arrived, but at least the exhaust wasn't damaged. That's more of an indictment on Toll than the sender. That's my take.
